Medvyl was started in 2023 by a small team of clinicians, patient advocates, and engineers who watched too many people fall through the cracks between providers.
We met in a hospital cafeteria, sketching what a patient portal could feel like if a person — not a billing department — got to design it. That sketch became Medvyl.
Today we're a remote team of 24 across four time zones — doctors, nurses, designers, security engineers, and people who've been on the other side of a difficult diagnosis. We believe the most ambitious thing a health product can do is take something heavy and quietly make it lighter.
